The Republic Bar in Minneapolis, MN

It's not often that I visit the old Seven Corners in Minneapolis, MN but when I did, we headed to The Republic Bar which is owned by a high school friend of my wife.

It's a great place to go, has good amibance and it's definitely not hauty at all. It's close to what you would consider a college bar as it's got a lot of room to stand up but it's pretty far away from the U of M.

However, it's also close to Minneapolis so it gets a lot of pre-game / pre-event type folks. On the night we we're there was a monter truck rally going on. It's definitely a hit before Minnesota Vikings games.

We ordered up the BROWN BUTTER BISON BURGER w/swiss, icebox pickle, dijonnaise and as you can see, the cheese knocks this out of the park! I always order my bison as no pink or medium-well so a feast for eyes and our stomach and the fries we're exactly the way we like them with the skin on the edges.
